Required supplies for pj Pants

I have listed here the supplies you need to have for the PJ pants sewing project. Please bring ALL of these supplies with you to class by January 7, 2016.

We will begin learning about sewing and clothing construction by making pajama pants.  These supplies can be purchased at any of the following retailers: Wal-Mart in Chippewa Falls, JoAnn Fabrics in Eau Claire, Hancock Fabrics in Eau Claire.

Here is what you will need:

3  yards of flannel or cotton quilters fabric from a 45” bolt  --- Flannel is a soft 100% cotton fabric. YOU MUST LAUNDER (wash and dry)THIS BEFORE BRINGING IT TO CLASS! Do not buy fleece or polar fleece – it will not work for this project!
Average cost per yard for flannel: $4.95
Average cost per yard for quilters fabric: $3.45

36-48 inches of 1/2" wide elastic -- Usually comes in a package of a couple yards. Consider partnering with a friend to share the cost.
               Average cost: $1.45 per yard

Thread - 1 spool of all-purpose thread that matches the color of your fabric
               Average cost per spool: $1.90

Each student is responsible for purchasing their own materials and bringing them to class by Wednesday, January 7, 2015.
